While Thanksgiving Is Supposed To Be................... A Happy Family Time.................Its Not Exactly That Way For Everybodys Family.....................................Sometimes ...........................There Are Bumps Along The WayEvery Family...... Is Not Like "The Waltons" You Know
And Unfortunately........I Came From One Of These Types Of Families
Because Of My Brother Being An Alcoholic?
The Last Thanksgiving We Had...As A Family"....Was Way Back In 1985
That Year My Brother Arrived There...Drunk
Him And Mt Father...Got Into Arguing...As Theyd Usually Do
My Mother Had Just Taken The Turkey Out Of The Oven...And Had Put It On The Table
The Argument Between Them Got Even More Heated
And My Father?.....In A Fit Of Rage...Grabbed The Whole Friggin Turkey
And Heaved It Right Through The Closed Window...Smashing The Window And Storm Window
My Brother Did Get Sober Finally In 2000
But Unfortunately...Because Of The Damage He'd Done To His Liver All Those Years?
He Passed On In 2002
So...The Holidays For Some Peoples Families?
Is Not One Of The Best Times Of the Year
