65 year old man and 92 years young woman
One day I met 2 different people on 2 seperate appointments, in both cases it was to do an estate review. The first was a 65 years old man who was about 5'6 bald and weighed about 200 pounds, I knew he was 65 from his paperwork but looking at him I would have guessed 73 years old. He looked dull and grey, we say at his kitchen table and reviewed his financial statements, he had over 1 million dollars in stocks and bonds and he looked like he was in love with his statement, I asked why his house was a dump, why didnt he paint it or get a new freaking telivision, it had to be from the 1970's he told me he didnt want to spend the money it was for his daughter.
I then went and visited a 92 years old woman who lived in a mobile home park she was about 5'6 and I would guess weighed 130 pounds, she appeared to me to be about 75 years old, she had energy and spirit but this day she was frantic because she taught piano lessons to make money and had been evicted from her business space. She was now forced to give them from her home, she needed the money because she only had 1,000 in savings and 600 a month from social security, she needed the money for food and clothing.
It seemed to me the old lady was living life day by day and the old man had finished living and was just resting on his laurels. Six months later I called the old man and found out he had died one month after my visit.
Think about this if you feel stressed out from living and dealing with life, have energy and vitality and take on your problems with a positive attitude. Having no problems is not natural and can be deadly.
