Whats the point of asking for a rating if you only expect compliments? If you cant take the truth, as some people see it, then dont ask for a rating in the first place. Also, who cares whether your daughter is "talented" or not? Is it her on this website, or you? Im not sure Ive ever met any parents who didnt have some kind of bias towards their own children and you sound fairly typical of that.

Yeah.....nice to meet you too. Im agreeing with Sherry above - get a thick skin ! If you go outside in winter without clothes you are going to get cold, its the same principle. Otherwise just stay indoors and dont risk it.

Yes you can always see a lawyer for good advice - and its reassuringly expensive. But unless I read your blog wrongly, I dont think there is any legal aspect attached to your 'issue', just one of common sense. And by the age of 49 many people have often acquired some of that.
