Photo Rating
What is the point of rating a photo unless you're going to tell someone that they are beautiful, they are attractive to you, or that you just like the photo?I've just turned mine off, particularly because a few people have taken the trouble to give my daughter a low rating for her art work.
Whilst I understand that some people may have got the scale arse-about-face and rated a 1 thinking it was the highest score, I'm a little worried that some low ratings are given out of spite.
If you think I'm butt ugly, or my daughter is talentless, then walk on by, but for goodness sake, if you are going to rate someone, don't batter their self-esteem into the ground.
I happen to think that she is very talented, particularly as this is niave art, she has had no tuition and she has a really individual style. The kid needs bigging up, not putting down.
What is the point of that???

I dont think you would have to worry about the negative comments, If she turns out like her mother than she will do just fine, Besides negative people she will meet and have to deal with it, I just hope you try to make her understand this.
I know all to well, One of my parents was just that way, But One always showed me the difference, Knowing is the most important part!
Make sure she knows that these people exist, And to pay attention to those that matter instead of one's that dont!
And never , Ever Blame herself for the way they are, Or what they say!
