Westmoreland woman allegedly caught ‘pulling a fast one’

Thirty-four-year-old Truce Prince, otherwise called ‘Sher’, of Three Miles River in Frome, Westmoreland has been charged with simple larceny in relation to an incident that reportedly occurred on Friday, July 10.

Reports from the Savanna-la-Mar police in the parish are that about 1:30 a.m. that day, a taxi operator was on route from Savanna-la-Mar to Grange Hill, during which he picked up Prince.

Upon reaching a section of Three Miles River, Prince reportedly requested a stop, and suddenly bolted from the taxi with $12,000 in cash that was in the vehicle.

She was subsequently accosted and both parties went to the Savanna-la-Mar Police Station, where Prince was searched and the money was reportedly found in her possession.

She was charged by the police.

A date for her appearance in court is being finalised by investigators.

I´ll sleep well tonight knowing that Sher is behind bars
She thought she would help herself to some spare change.
I hope they chopped off the thief hands.

That way everyone will know a thief when they see one.frustrated
