Single parents

How difficult its for a single mom/dad to go on dates, specially for those ones that live with their own kids.... 1 lil girl in my case, but yeah , it's difficult to find an honest good guy around...and here somethig weird happens...loads of guys/girls dating single moms/dads think we are trying to get a new mom/dad for our kids....
What a mistake...my girl has her own dad ...I'm looking for a nice guy for me lol :D

Nice= Well, attractive to my eyes...so it's kinda relative....but in the end what really matters it's what he got INSIDE and we girls we know that :)

So tell me what do you think abt that and would be nice as well to hear abt your own experiences :) I'm a curious girl hehe

I would agree completely. I am a single mother to 4 beautiful little girls. I am NOT looking to find a "new dad" for any of them! I just want to find someone who makes ME happy! applause I think a LOT of men are scared off by the fact that I have kids. My opinion is that if they can't accept me w/my kids then I don't want them in my life anyway! My kids are more important than ANY man out there! lol grin I hope some day to find a man that loves my kids and loves me for who we are as a family. At first the kids aren't even around to be involved because they do not need to see/hear anything that doesn't involve them; but obviously if it got serious enough then they would have to be around and they would have to get along. Well....that is just my 2 cents! Good luck hun! hug

Been a single parent,make's it much harder to get involved with someone.Because the children will allway's come first,and children can also reject another man comeing into there home.I have experienced younger children in a house and older children,and i found no matter how hard i tried never worked out.doh

Hunter501 I agree with you, it is difficult. Well, my daughter hated all the guys I went out with. Although, trying to explain to her I was not replacing her dad. It caused so much tension in my relationships. But now she is 20 and will be leaving the house in just a few weekscheering cheering banana. Anybody wanna celebrate with me?

I recently went on a date with a really really hot Cuban guy. My daughter rang my cell phone and sent me so many texts messages. It was probably one of the worst stunts she ever pulledvery mad But lucky for her, Mom has sold the house and is downsizing to a nice condo for one and now she has to move out and can live with some of her college friends...yay

Goodness, I was afraid she would never leavedoh
