Just wanted to give moonlove a reality check

I am from China. Things here are totally different. I have many relatives doing business and making their living in North America or South America. Before they immigrate there, their old relatives, their parents, their grandparents warn them never never marry foreigners... for some reason. As to those in China, our parents, our relatives, our grandparents warn us the same things…Even though it is young foreigners we are strongly against it, let alone dad-typed old men.

Dadvic, let me kindly give you some suggestions. Those moms who want to introduce their daughters to you are just stupid moms and those young daughters are stupid young girls… While they are using your Canadian money, they may think about their secret young Philippine lovers...I guess you are wise enough not to jump into such kinds of traps…

This reality does not happen only to our country but worldwide..sadly most often on developing countries..Sometimes I feel ashamed seeing young girls from here with their old rich husbands but i cannot judge them on what i just see..There are a lot of reasons to it..some do it for financial security (I agree with Myue89)..take the Indecent Proposal movie..its an offer one can't refuse when in NEED, some for emotional security, some for a VISA as they perceive its always greener on the other side of the fence(not knowing that in the middle its also barren) , for some maybe TRUE LOVE.. I knew a few foreigners who are living here and abroad that are happy and satisfied with their young wife so money is not actually the issue. There are still good women who will not take advantage of the oldies!

I am not against this issue only that it sometimes create a bad image for us Filipinos

However I want to say this to those old men out there who wanted to marry a young pretty lass from Asia maybe you should think twice before doing so…they maybe tempting but before diving in get to know them & always know their motives..

well my one daughter married an Egyptian dentist ....but she makes over $100.000 herself ...so i do not know if it counts....

well they are all around you ....but they are socialized to their own age group.....in your state...

Well I just read comment from moonlove how sad to think that money is everything.

Many cultures are different but its not what a person has in assets or anything of that sort you fall in love because you have feelings and because of the inner beauty of a person. Love is to me not planned it happens its a connection between two people, the feeling of never wanting to be apart.
