Are we all at risk to stay single for ever?

I talked to one Mexican lady lately(and many others before)about this.She is 35 years old,never married,no kids.When I asked her why she did not you marry she said,I did not marry because I spent about 10 years on the online dating websites looking for "love". I wish her good luck but I think it is too late to look for marraige at her age.
The mindset like hers(which is find someone somehwere on the other continent or over the fence)is very popular today.Many think that internet can help solve their problem of being single(sometimes money problems).But I think it makes the situation worse.Many people gonna stay single.The older we get the harder for us to find a partner(many have married already,others are too old or ugly for us).And we ourselves are not getting younger and beatifullier.We are getting fatty,skinny,we are getting uglier.so what is the point of staying single so long and waiting the time when no one is looking at us anymore?

Whilst it's a slightly one sided viewpoint, I can see where you're coming from.
Physical attraction, no matter what we say, is an important part of things. We are more likely to be attracted to someone we FIND attractive. Not being much of a looker, I have always struggled to get people interested at first. You can't see humour or intelligence 'across a busy dance floor'. Yes, it IS harder as we get older, but not everyone is looking for 'marriage'. I'd settle for 'happiness'.

i can see your point, but i have an uncle that stayed single for 15 years, he remarried 8 years ago, divorced and is playing the field like he's 20.this isn't that unusual, except he is 73 years old and dates women my age--and some younger. (maybe i should hang out with him more..lol)
