look around

Have you ever notice the thousands of people that join dating site everyday for example CS in order to find love?
Yet thousands still stay here for years without even finding a date to try.
If its a dating site with 75% single male and female why is it that its still so difficult for people to find love?
I am very curious, what do you think?

Only my opinion but I think because some are to picky or have unrealistic criteria. I think some pass over a decent guy or girl just because there was something they did not like about their profile. Maybe they were not quite good looking enough, 6 digit salary or maybe it was just some small thing they wrote. Profiles can be very deceiving. People talk about the importance of first impressions but I still hold to "you can't always judge a book by its cover." especially when your reading it on a date site.
I think there are many that would have made someone happy but because they that person did not have six pack abs or a pricey car they were passed up. 3 year later you see them on the same site still searching for their "soul mate" whatever that is!

I have noticed that. Here is what i think. This site represent's a possibility. When you first come here yes you are most likely looking for the right one. However when you are here. You realize their way more stuff to do. Not to mention that all people in the absence of finding love will always welcome a good friendship. Friendship and Kinship for that matter are the root of what we seek. Our lover the one we give our everything to. They have to be our BEST friend. They have to be much more than that in love. But without the basic bond of a strong friendship. The love will be tainted and eventually will fade away. That is why a couple can be together for so long. Then split up. After all the struggle all the good and bad. They still split up.
Why? they stop being friends. Not simple but it is true. The glue that makes love stick is Friendship. Here their are millions of possible friends. That is why i stay.

I have,t been on here long,,but i feel as if i,m getting friends here,,,and right now friends are very important,,,at least friends are real,,supportive ,,and here always when needed,,,,,cheering hug

Well, as the saying goes..... "There is someone for everyone", but have you ever thought that perhaps that someone hasn't joined this site!!!!!

Try not to look too hard..... something good always seems to come around when you least expect it.. in my experience anyway!
and in the meantime you are making friends....

I wish you all the best, don't lose heart and be positive... it goes a long way!!
