Have you ever wread the book Catch 22 ...
I fell and hurt the back of my head badly at the age of 15. A massive lump. Gp's still did house calls then and i was put to bed for the week-end.

Heard on radio some time ago that Bipolar could be a result of head injuries?

Checked your profile, not for romantic reasons. Please feel free to comment.
totally agree with farcry4289!!!! LOL!!!!!!!
First I would have to ask does anyone in your family whom you are related to have Bi-Polar Disorder? Next what was the very first time you had a full manic epsiode? How old where you?
Did someone diagnosis you with Bi-Polar Disorder? If so did they tell you which it was Bi-polar I or Bi-Polar II? Finally, are you on any medications currently.

I would have to say that it would be a very rare case. Considering the number of head injuries I have seen. However, I have seen people, who mirror the symptoms of Bi-Polar disorder. Because their brain does not communicate to them that high risk is involved in their behavior. Cognitive Behaviorl Therapy and support groups work well for Bi-Polar disorders...Don give up...Many great men and women in history had Bi-polar disorder.

Write again thanks Doc.
