An Angel
An AngelMay the angel’s watches us all to-night,
And keep us safe, till morning light,
The days are long,
An the nights are longer,
But as time goes by,
We will all become stronger,
I speak the truth, on how I feel,
And I know, in time this will heal,
You made me smile, you make me laugh.
But now, that’s all within the past,
I cannot break through,
The wall that surrounds me,
Feel so trapped, and o so lonely,
I’m trapped in a world,
An cannot break free,
Because of my family,
They really need me.
The time will come,
When their strong enough,
I will step aside,
And just be their guide
I hope an angel is watching me,
To give me courage and the strength,
To help me break free.

never a day goes by i dont think of her and all my other grandparents i have lost over the years, god bless you all
