so she can buy her new B.friend presents.

I see how it is important for some to be surrounded by others for the holidays. Personally I prefer to be alone and spend time relaxing or doing things I don't otherwise have time to do. Knowing that my granddaughter will be with her father's family for most of the holiday makes me feel good. I have turned down invitations to other places in lieu of being alone. Being independent has a lot to do with it I guess. Hang in there and chill or get busy on something you have been putting off.

I hear you and i guess you and your girlfriend and i should get together and have our own Holiday!!! lol lol yes i feel for everyone out there alone for the holidays or i mean i know what you are going through!!!!

Just my opinion here but no one really has to spend christmas alone..There are many people out there who would like to be a friend or if you have family enjoy the season with them..
Christmas is suppose to be a season where we show love towards others and its not suppose to be a what will I get out of it holiday..
Unfortunately the media and stores try to get us to think about presents and having a partner, but in reality you can be happy if you want to in almost any situation..Some people volunteer during the season to help others and find fulfillment making other people smile..Try not to focus on what you dont have but focus instead on what you do have or can do..

I think, this Christmas Eve will be just like all ordinary evening. So take a walk, go to hiking, or do something which do not remind you to the loneliness.
Or as I usually do if I am alone on this day: have a party! If you know people around you who is alone too, invite him/her to your place, open a bottle of wine, drink casually and make great conversation! I will do that!
