I AM A SUPERSTAR !!
Why do so many of us tell ourselves we are usless, boring or fat and the list is long. Just changing the words we use to describe our lives can have nothing less but profound positive effects. Of course it takes persistence to break a habit but if we have an organized desire to feed our mind with nothing but the best, the end result is nothing but a fulfilling and satisfying life. No, it does not cost anything to detox the languge you present to yourself.
My friends, I am fully aware society does not always reward positive thinkers and doers, and the negative reactions are an evident reality,eg ... if you proclaim you are a great cook, or you are fantastic at your job. I know in most part you will be considered arrogant. I experience the same reaction from some CS when I share specific information about my life. Some have even accused me of being a Scammer.
A few negative thoughts a day or fear, have the ability to keep us in a rut and not just for an hour or two. Just a week ago I went knocking on the door of the office of a person using his diploma to cause me harm, as in a an insurance claim report I needed he deliberately documented false information about me ... to line his pockets. I had no aim to wait my turn to see this idiot again, and make it clear to him that his ill motives have been discovered, and he has indeed offended society greatly.
' Who do you think you are comming in my office without an appointment ' this idiot and criminal surely protested.
'I am a SUPERSTAR' ... of course I am not but my reply knocked him in his chair, and his clients were also informed what he really represent.
Go ahead .... say it to a world audience, that you are a SUPERSTAR !! You will not regret it !!

The pseudo, self proclaimed superstars are dangerous in my opinion. You just met one didn't you ?
Get real, be real, get qualified ... be logical, what's wrong with that.
I understand your point about switching over to a positive way of thinking but many are just not qualified to hand that delusion.
I find ur writing rewarding in 9 out of 10 cases.
Maybe its 9.2 but aleast pretty good!
Hehe.
You know also what is inspirational?
Hope! Good stuff 2, but u know that. Cheers!
If someone doesn't treat you fairly, it's good to point it out (clearly and with few words, do not respond rudely or defensively).
I understand your point --- encourage yourself! Sure ...
Reality --- don't let other people determine your worth --- determine it for yourself and know that your flaws are no greater than anyone else's (don't focus on the negative).
Also - as Whitehorse smartly points out --- be careful the language you use (in your mind) --- think of a mistake as a mistake not "I'm an idiot" --- things like this actually matter to your self-esteem.
