Q:How to say no to a guy without hurting him??

ermmm, so, a boy asked me out but im not interested in him,how can i say no but not hurt him too much and still be friends???

To be honest to myself ..... it's going to hurt him no matter what i say.

Should i just say "I'm sorry I don't feel the same way about you, I see you as a friend and value that friendship.

And then there is the most simple thing that i can say. "Let me think about it" That usually works and then he probably won't ask again.

Rusha personally I think Swiss' advice was the best. We've all been rejected, it does hurt but I think that was the best thing to say!

Rusha when that guy I asked to meet me for a coffee turned me down he turned me down by saying Thank you but no. Yes it hurt for a bit but you know what I appreciated his honesty and the nice way he did it. We're still on friendly terms and the hurt feelings soon disappeared. Just thought you'd like to hear it from someone who got turned down. Honesty is far kinder in the long run. If you say let me think about it he might think there is still hope.
