Trusting dating sites to find friends or partner

I regularly read in various CS forum's threads and blogs about scammers, difficulties to find partner(s) or even friends, disappearance of potential future "soulmate" etc etc.
It is strange that the number of CS members are growing although - we know that the lucky ones - who found their love ones - are not that many compare to ones who gave up or are still searching and looking ... confused

Actually, i'm convinced the guys at the weather station messed up today . . . it is in fact really cold,(more like 5deg C) with an icy cold 40Knots wind blowing . . . so perfect hot chocolate a movie daycheers grin

Its always been this way "I" think? But the internet has made it that much more obvious. People seem to flock to the internet more now than taking the time to go out and mingle... With the comfort of the internet you dont have to worry about rejection - cause you can just delete them without no one knowing you were rejected or for whatever reasons it didnt work out. Plus, time is money! And its easier to shop for free that it is to put in a REAL effort like back in the day. Dont get me wrong, im sure the socialites are still out there otherwise all the sports grills and whatnot would be all closed. LOL... God knows im still goin.. I dunno, thats just my summation on it at this point. Plus there are soooooo many more people on this planet now, that im sure that has raised the odds of the lonley... But we all need to keep our chins up - cause no one else will, unless you find the one that will... Peace out. peace

i met some gems of friends on here i mightened see them everyday but value their friendship.i also met my fiance on here.so dont give up as you never know whats around the corner .i love reading the forums and the blogs on here ,but also the fact that i can sent virtual flowers and cards to my friends on here .teddybear teddybear

If I find a significant other that will be great. I am enjoying meeting new people, everyones blog and the community it seems ya'll have made here. This is the first time in months since I've been on and off a site all day long. I am really liking it here. I hope to make most of your aquaintences and hopefully some will turn into genuine friendships. There are also many with a great sense of humor as I have been smiling or laughing all day long. Thanx for making me feel welcomed.

Trusting a dating site is getting an opinion and a receiving end. Try bringing this up to someone in person and all you'll get is a blank stare of indifference. Take a survey in person of about 100 people and maybe only 1 will go the extra mile to offer some great feedback. Recievers and not ignorers.
