Grace is the most important idea known to the huma

I am not quite sure how this blog business works, but I would like to suggest, rather strongly, that Grace is the most important concept that the world has ever known. And for me, it is the single idea that if accepted, believed and practiced, necessarily, transforms the individual practitioner and those around him.

Grace is a God idea that most of Christendom and the religious world, in general, have largely, ignored.

And although the word has been repeated often in the context of religious services, the true, Biblical meaning and implications have, largely, not been taught.

Please tell me what you think. Janze

Hi hoping:

I must apologize for writing to you in this forum, but I could not send you a note through the messaging system.

As to your question on Grace.

First, what is it? Grace describes God's attitude of complete forgiveness and relentless goodness towards the entire human race, especially to those who believe.

I am a father of two boys and although they are both grown men and are doing quite well, my attitude towards them is one of care, compassion, gentleness and goodness. Now, everything they do may not meet my expectations and standards, but my attitude towards them does not change.

In the book of Isaiah 54:10, the God who created the universe describes His attitude towards us, His creation. And since God is unchanging and is unchangeable, we are assured that His attitude towards us will not change either.

If you knew that in spite of yourself that the attitude of your Eternal Father does not change, would that give you a different perspective on the universe and your place in it?

If you genuinely recognize and accept that attitude as an ultimate reality, how would your own attitude change? What kind of person would you become if you knew that The Eternal Father loves you with a love that neither time nor circumstance could alter? Would you become a person more at peace with yourself? Would you become a more empathetic and compassionate person? Would you become a person who is more patient and more loving with those with whom you interact daily?

The recognition and the acceptance of God's Grace in the life necessarily transforms and thereby, influences those around you.

Romans 5:8, 20 give us examples of how that marvelous Grace works in the life of those who recognize and accept God's attitude of Boundless Grace.

That is enough for now, but I would be happy to respond further if you wish. Janze
