Do we see what others see. ? ? ?

It's quite common to hear people make comments about others, some good and some "not so good?"

I want to talk about those GOOD things they say.
How often do these very same people, who see the good in others, actually see the same qualities in themselves???

How many poeple are there, out there who do not see themselves in the same light as others do. People who fail to recognize just how wonderful or talented or kind or cheerful or considerate or friendly they are. People who see and identify attractive qualities in others but are blind to their own.

Can we make a difference to how people perceive themselves, by the way we respond to them?
Is it possible to boost some-ones self-image, by bringing their good qualities to their attention?
Is it possible to change someones life by becoming more aware of them?

Is it worth the effort to try?bouquet kiss teddybear

Parti, so right, we do have to accept people for who they are, the good with the bad, but sometimes we can bring out more of the good in them simply by being ourselves, just like you do.hug teddybear
@Summer, that is so true, our comments are a reflection of ourselves. The question is are we going to show a good reflection of ourselves or a not so good one.bouquet hug
Sweetkitten, strangely enough it was also due to a friend telling me that I needed to learn how to accept a compliment, that made me sit back and rethink who I was and re-evaluate myself. Its been a process, but it did make a difference for me too.bouquet hug
Huggerman, it is always good to be helpful and kind to others. but I have discovered that we also need to acknowledge the good in ourselves as easily as we recognise it in other.hug cheers
