Wow - I can post!

I got banned from the forums on my birthday (5th June).

Ok - I know I should not have reacted, but I reacted badly to being called a liar and an insinuation about my character........ maybe I should have sent the person an email instead of retaliating publicly - but MY NAME had been maligned in public and I was furious!

Oh well, I reacted badly and then a few people pitched in to attack me - again publicly instead of 'letting sleeping dogs lie'!

I had a 'ok' birthday; my best friend couldn't turn up because her hot water boiler decided to break down - and she needed it fixed 'pronto'; especially as she is flying off to Spain tomorrow for 'God knows' how long.

It was far better for the damn thing to break down on my birthday than the day before she was due to fly off - that would have a been REAL panic situation!

It is nice to be allowed to post a blog - hardly anybody will bother to read it but it gives me the opportunity to put my scattered thoughts on paper.

I retired in January 2006. I'm coming out of retirement now - I am going to be a 'born again worker'!

I'm actually excited. A real man should work instead of leading an idle meaningless life; and work equals meeting people and I kinda like people.

I hope all reading this are having a great summer - and if you are in the southern hemisphere freezing your dangly bits off.......... well, you can laugh at us 'northerners' when 'your' summer comes along in a few months time!

Of course, if you live in the tropics, - yaboo to you!!!
