Just disappointed

Yesterday I lost my commuter pass. Until now it doesn't show up. Iasked the lost and found section of the train line and nobody ever handed such. Just frustrated on thinking there are a lot of honest people out there. At the same time me for being negligent and foolish. Imagine it's something like 150 US dollars. Poor me!doh

sorry about your loss, it could be worse but ofcourse you will think about your lost pass for some time. is it possible to keep it around your neck when not at home or racing with time and moving around in a flash. good day and do not be hard on yourself ... we are all foolish and negligent now and then. if i find your pass in Malta floating in the sea, i will contact
So sorry-once I lost a horse, my favorite one that could jump six feet high-never did find her!!!crying
I really do,nt like to blow my own trumpet but I will anyway, last week I found a ladies hand bag on my bus (I,m a London bus driver) it came fully equipped mob phone, purse ,mp3 and all the stuff women are lost without,I called my boss,30 mins later the girl called in..When I finshed my shift,,I handed it in ,and at that very minute the lady turned up to claim it,,she ask about me and we where introduced. She was about 22yrs so my chances of scoring where pretty low,but in for a dollar!! I giv her the big chat then she mentioned the BF ..She was a lovely girl I walked her to the bus stop,,she even asked for my phone number, says she will call me at christmass..she offered money and was upset when I would not take it..maybe I should have and sent to you Tatami....anyway thats my story,,, it give me a spring in my step just to help a stranger out....and a nice stranger at that!!!
Don't feel bad. You could have my bad habit of constantly losing things. And it's all carelessness. I get myself into a rush and bingo! the very thing I need to remember is misplaced and lost. I don't think I will ever cure myself of this!

Good luck to you in the future.
@Calliopes, compared to you my loss is minute. I could have cried a river with losing such a pricey pet. @ Mr. Whitehorse, if my commuter pass would be washed away towards Malta and you were able to pick it up and send it to me personally, I would never let you go perhaps.grin @Mr.lipsee, I was making a lot of presumptions and a great degree of faith in honesty here in Japan. And alas to my dismay, it happened that the very few dishonest people around got hold of my pass. @Mr. Ed, maybe its a sign of the time. I owe half of the fault for being silly. But then as my son said last night, it can be bought again. The one thing that is worthy of being really sad when lost is something which money can't buy. Somehow what my son said appease me. To all friends who viewed, thanks for giving time esp those who commented.bouquet
I was told that Japan was one of the most honest countries in the world...I will still believe that your pass is still sitting exactly where you lost it and no one picked it up because of the honesty!!! Got to believe in something, right?
