Needs -v- Wants

here's a question for you all.... Is it better to be needed? or wanted? confused

As an adult, I have many basic "needs" and loads of "wants". I've got everything I need to live a happy life, but not necessarily everything I want. Hence the new online dating thing....laugh

So, if I tell someone in my independant 'assertive' manner that I don't need them, but that I want them, wouldn't that be a compliment?

Are people too sensitive? and crave that "needy" feeling?

Personally, I'd much rather be wanted by a "man" so I can leave the "neediness" to my kiddies.

It feels good to be needed, but I guess it depends on how much someone needs you. Some people are so needy that they are suffocating.
Want
The answer is Want
for example: a want is a wish not an action
A need is a service the other must provide, in my experience.

He may not want me around but he needs me to do the laundry, errands, etc because he has better things to do.

Just my experience.
pointing WANTED but if/when u eva NEED me I will b there!
It's a tough one & I'm in two minds about it. I guess a little bit of everything is better.
