Generations
Nice things.I've just spent the last few days of the school holidays down the south coast. The adventure brought together four generations of our family and althought it was a short visit, it was good 'family' time.
There's nothing like snags on a BBQ, Beer or bourbon, & peel as you go prawns, hanging out with family & sharing a laugh.
After seeing my grandparents, I'm starting realise the small amount of time I have left with the oldest generation in my family so I'm doing my best to see them often & make sure my kids have many good memories of their great grandparents.
I know I'm very fortunate to still have my grandparents in my life and can only hope that you good folk are lucky enough to still have yours.
So like all good disfunctional families, I love mine to bits despite the fact that I have a crazy Aunt and the biggest tree hugging hippie uncle on the south coast. It makes extended family gatherings a whole lot more fun.
