Thanks Mom and Dad.
So I was at a customer's house today and the woman came outside to talk to me. We had gotten into conversation where she had mentioned the "man" who (used to) work part time for me. She said she couldn't believe how young he looked. I said, well yes...he is 19 and he's my son's (who is 18) best friend. She looks at me and said, but you don't look old enough to be the mom of a teenager....I said, are you kidding me? I'm a gramma....she just gasped in disbelief and said you couldn't possibly be a grandmother..Yes I am.
Thanks to Mom and Dad for passing on the youthful gene!

The sibling rivalry in my family was very prominent, badly so, in my family of brothers and sister. One sister at age 86 still gets mouthy and her kids are just as blunt to the point I have just stayed away from them.
But my kids are the best. They love each other with lots of love and my G-kids are right there with lots of love. I am fortunate. So very rarely do I visit my siblings, what's left of them, and spend lots of time with my kids and G-kids!
You aren't old because if you are then so am I. I think we are only a year or so apart in age. Besides for the past few years,and for the rest of my life I will only celebrate my 30 "faux" birthday.

I used to get carded when I went into a bar for years. Now I get carded when I get on the bus as a "Senior Citizen". How's that one for a belly blaster!
When I get carded for the "Senior Citizen" thing I always manage to get a chuckle or two with the remark. I ask for a double discount because I am also a "Senor Citizen"!!!
