Brussels quirks

You can urinate in public areas
Roadworks are conceived to keep people from working
Strikes can be political, economical, and sympathetic
You can be legally dead every day exept for Thursday evening
There are 7 women for each men in Brussel
Despite the above, it is not easy to find company (other quirks)
Brux has at least 5 languages (and not only two)
Public administration is a lethal weapon of mass destruction

wow 5 languages? uh oh

I was only wasting time to argue with him which one was the national language of Belgium, French or Dutch sigh Now when I can accept there are 2 languages widely spoken in Belgium, just heard there are actually 5...what are the other 3? dunno

Belgium only has 3 official languages; dutch, french and german. However, Brussels being the capital and host of many, many EU officials, a lot of other languages are spoken too.

Bulgarian is one of the EU languages too, and the Cyrillic alphabet, along with the Latin and Greek ones, are the EU alphabets wave
