THE LIFE TODAY

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, said:

"Man… Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he doesn't enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

i wonder if the Dalai lama would see himself as we judge his quotes and learn surprisingly...that we never really die, as if to be the god he seemingly judges us by a sort of grandiosity undeserving....but i'm just a drunken poet.Perhaps to live is to have the ability to ..think.....which so many never really do(sometimes i wish i couldn't, as a physical respect to trivial happiness)......
