I've done this due to my old Dog Toby is in his last hours of life

had him since 8 weeks old till 15 years now he as had a great life
I'll surly miss him
Sorry to here about your Misse
My Toby Passed on in his sleep at around 5am my time
I sat on his blanket and had his head on my lap
with my other dog Mini laying by his side
to warm and comfort him
So I think he would have passed on happy in his dream

you know Humankind should take some lessons from our pets
there loyalty devotion and honesty are with out question
@Calliopes, I emphatize with you for your Misse. If we could only lengthen their lives.
then, if the puppie, survive the firsts days and start walking,
then mix a little puppies food, purina or whatever the brand,mashed with milk or water.
it seems it is to much work, but it is worthy when you see the results, good luck,
I dont know,i've never been in that situation before.
