Have a happy

St. Nickolaus Day...this day is very important to me cause...my son, who i miscarried was named Nickolaus...so each yr am glad that it's Advent and Xmas time...but saddened also about my loss...I always get out the books that the pastor from the hospital gave me at that time and many weeks after due to my grief...on a happier note though the first Icon I ever painted, or wrote as they say was of this 3rd century Bishop....take care...have a good dayangel

Very sorry that Christmas has such a tragic memory. There are many people who do not understand that it is losing a child, just the same. In my life, it has been important and helpful for me to know that there is a value in everything, even loss and sorrow (yes, I know it's tough to wrap our mind around that). teddybear

Dear Sweet: I went to church {mass, as I am a Catholic} and we were informed that today the 6th of Dec. is the Feast Day of St. Nickolaus. Also, the priest's birthday is on this day... wait, there is more... the priest is a mission priest from Poland... the home country of St. Nickolaus. We knew it was his birthday and had a birthday cake ready for him. Little things can mean a great deal when done out of love. So, may God bless you and may St. Nickolaus be with you.angel wave wave You have friends in this world {we all do} that we don't know about.hug hug
