Iceberg Dead Ahead !!...Aye Aye ...

I am now the official Titanic expert.
I was sitting around with some friends and family members before Christmas and we started discussing presents when someone asked me what i was interested in;.. so i added my fascination with the Titanic story to my list of interests.
But i was not expecting to receive 2 books, a set of Dvds and a framed print moping all on the subject uh oh
Obviously they had not consulted with each other.
Now i know i enjoy the subject but come on like!!
Has anything like this happened to you!laugh

Non Yes thats true about the sister ship Olympic.
They are actually photographed together in Belfast (drydock) as Olympic was getting some work done and Titanic was being made ready for sailing...They are identical.

Calli, unfortunately all societies have a pecking order as it were. It seems to satisfy a need for most humans. We should start our own club, eh? Humans without pecking orders? rolling on the floor laughing In my best Emily Litella (Gilda Radner) voice....nevermind....rolling on the floor laughing
G'night Irish dude.
I'm laughing, Chame1eon, that was funny....laugh
I had read a book with details and pictures a few years ago. Very sad... and very horrifying to be in anything like that.

Yet...from these horrible accounts of such incidents, I guess we get to learn, that from the skies down, nothing and no one should think it/he or she...as invincible. I feel that it's an arrogant way of looking at life.

Just my two cents...
