Cast Aside
Then there was me, there was you,by the fire, together,
Used to sit here
With many dreams in heart
Stars in eyes
Long into the night,
talk and sing, and
Dance sometimes
Make love, weave kisses
All in the fire’s light.
When fire died and danced stopped
you walked into the waves,
To be lost in the depths of time, and space
For I am an Empty bottle
Cast aside without a second thought
only wish is to disappear from memory
Away from my love, away from me,
Gone away for good.
Then there was me, and only me,
By the fire, all alone,
Cast aside in this sand of love
