it's easy to fool someone who's ready to believe others ! but i'm not certain as to who would be the ultimate fool ! the one who has fooled ? or the one who was fooled ? your opinion ?

pranoy...nice to see you...I can only answer...fool me once it's my fault...fool me twice it's your fault...it's easier to forgive yourself...if you think it's someone else's fault it's a lot harder to forgive them...

pranoy...I would say no...because it is a coping mechanism...a lesson has been learnt by you not by them...they're are still the fool because they are only fooling themselves...they keep taking the risk and learn nothing...

i was referring to real, intentional fooling and not the unconscious fooling which happens due to communication gap !

I think people who lie are not not necessarily fools but certainly are to be pitied. They must feel that their true selves are not worthy of closeness with another. Neither do I believe the one lied to is a fool - just a normal. trusting human being who unfortunately may not be so trusting in the future.
