i say about my self what i believe about my self ! my belief need not be true ! am i honest ? or a liar ?

Being that Life, like time. Is relevant to the perceiver,
Then the only thing we truly perceive trough all our time is self.
Ergo We my only be true to self. That is if truth is understanding

If you were the only man alive then perceptions are simply perceptions.

its only in comparison they become truth or lies.
You should ask whos perception is most viable dunno

non ! thanks for your interest and inputs ! it matters, i think ! source of all conflicts seem to lie in how serious we are about our perceptions ! don't you think so ? either we must've way of validating our perceptions or we shouldn't give too much importance to our perceptions ! what do you think ?

Non:

I used to lie to myself when I was a young dude and I called it "dreaming about my future and the star I was going to be". But I don't now because, it is as you say, it is a loathsome habit. Especially when you start bragging to people. That's embarrassing when it smacks you in the face!

Yes It is a very important question, The only truth I try now to attain is the self assurance that I have disturbed little of the sand of time as I move trough it. In this I find peace peace

Very good question im not sure where truth starts i guess it depends on whos firing the questions and who will get hurt by the answers. And who has the right to know, is it their business.I try to be honest but i have to admit there are times a fib can avoid a whole lot of drama over nothing.thumbs up wave

gullie ! problem remains with believing ourselves to be true and honest! we tend to take a stand and confront others ! where as in the real sense, there's no way of being true, with certainity ! am i able to communicate ? thanks for your interest ! look for more inputs !

being true to oneself is most important .... But some have no idea what's true in their lives from false ....

There are many fake people trying hard to be something they are not ....

I feel its way easier to be yourself ....
And speaking the truth leaves without trying to remember lies .....

For every lie one speaks they have to say ten more to cover it up ........

Truth exists independently of ourselves(objective). For example,George Washington was the first president of the United States is true for everybody in all places and at all times,regardless of our perspective or religious beliefs. We don't determine truth,we discover it. Rather,than looking inward within ourselves for truth(subjective),we need to look upward to God,as it's ultimate source.Jesus said...I am the way the truth and the life,no one comes to the Father except through me(John 14:6).

Since Jesus claimed to be the Son of a God and proved it by rising from the dead,his claim to be the only way to the one true God,is true. God bless!wave
