Improvement in Christ

---We work with confused notions by changing their true meaning. The result - we receive not what we want. Teaching different people not to sin and showing them sincerity, seriousness, with sane teachings.
---How we do improve ? Through suffering, being taught to obedience through what you have suffered. Exercises of life teach your feelings to recognize good from evil. Christ improves your character into His fullness.
---God's law can't improve you to have consciousness about sin. You improve yourself by daily fulfilling and sanctifying the Holy Spirit with. Jesus was sacrificed by God for being we sanctified forever.
--- Christian, purified from deceitful conscience, not something resembling conscience / craftiness/.
What fills your heart /spirit/ is what talking your mouth.
---Once you have tasted this Heavenly gift, you become empathetic to the HSpirit deeds & wonders.
---The High Priest Jesus - holy, perfect, innocent, unblemished, raised to the Throne. Honor. Favor of God, not Man's approval & God sometimes does not let us interfere His calling. Fix it with Him. No need your chance. Get it?
---Check yourself are u in the faith? Improved in knowledge u would not lie & despise other.
--- Almighty God, in power & wisdom, does not despise anyone & their background lol. God does not anoint /empower background, but gives justice. Gracious and merciful to the ungrateful & evil persons.
---Rejoice when others are strong & pray when weak for their improvement to reach God's fullness in Christ.

you believe that knowledge is a gift of the holy ghost ...

... the only way to anything, including god, is knowledge. That's the only way we humans know and i find it real weird to be created a sinner and expected to be holy...

god ain't supposed to play dice.. dunno

fill me in.
You stay cold ,cruel, harden heart without hardships, trials and suffering..but who wants that? The Angels? No. They are on the Heaven & can visit you rarely with God's approval only. Who? Which bear their cross and follow the Holy Spirit's improvement.
Athena, that's a good question. I've wondered the same often enough. On the surface, it doesn't seem fair that God made us imperfect yet seems to expect so much of us. Yes, God made us imperfect in that he designed us to need Him, and not to be little Gods. One could say that the nature of the imperfection was an incompleteness, rather than a sinful nature. We are complete in Him, not without Him.

God did not create us with sin. We chose to sin. He gave us free will and with that free will we chose to sin. On the other hand we may choose to love God. The expectation of us to become more like God may be obtained by loving Him and heeding his Word. In doing so we become less inclined to sin because we are less incomplete as we seek relationship with God.
Knowledge - 1 Cor 13:8,9,10 "Love never fails [ never fades out or become obsolete or come to an end]. As for prophecy (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), it will be fulfilled and pass away; as for tongues, they will be destroyed and cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away [ it will lose its value and be superceded by truth ]. For our knowledege is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect) and our prophecy (our teaching) is fragmentary (imcomplete and imperfect). But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away (become antiquated, void, and superceded).

Most of us think we know. But truth is not based in knowledge, it is based in belief and acceptance of the one who imparts truth.

We don't improve through suffering, we just endure it and are called to endure it when it comes. This is the revelation of the words often quoted about it. Yes some people must suffer, some people do suffer as a result of their own actions or the actions of others. But suffering does not bring with it improvement. Suffering just is. It can be used in different ways for sure, but it just is. Improvement comes from the working of God alone. Not because of anything we can do other than believe and respond to that belief.

None of us can reach the standard of Christ. That is why he came and died for us - while we were still sinners. Not because we were able to become perfect, even through faith and belief.

We can do nothing to attain salvation, it is the free gift of God.

So the bible needs to be read for what it says, not for what is incorrectly taught through various religions and church groups of what is supposed says.
God permits suffering to improve our character...

We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance (patience); perseverance; character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us (Romans 5:3-5).
