There is no substitute for full surrender to the Lord Jesus ! You cannot delay and put it off ! HE must be our 1st love and be 1st place in our lives and He will not tolerate a half-hearted lukewarm decision to add Him to your life.
He does not want partial surrender but full surrender. What value is there to give part of your life to the Lord and when it does not change your life ? That's not real biblical Christianity. You cannot add Jesus to your sinful life. The low demands of a 'cultural Christianity' leads to unchanged lives that are no different from the world. The Bible calls us to REPENT, turn from sin and turn fully to Christ in humble faith which leads to a life-transforming change.
To be converted and to surrender to Christ The King is to be preoccupied with Jesus and that you hunger for your life to reflect His life. To fully surrender means to be completely dependent upon Him and that obedience brands your conduct. You want to be on fire for Jesus, to love and trust Jesus , to obey Jesus and to fulfill Jesus' purpose for your short life here on planet earth.
