Unexpected Avalanche

Edward Snowden decided the secret information he was given should be shared with the world. So far, most of us didn't find out anything we didn't already know. Countries, even allies, spy on each other. However, Snowden being in Russia, I'm sure is telling the Russians way, way more than his intended audience, the general population. From hero to zero in seconds flat. From whistle blower to Soviet spy. Snowden used really bad judgement and possibly did major damage to the United States and possibly our allies. Falling down the slippery slope caused a major avalanche to fall on his head. In my book your a zero Snowden, not a hero. The road of good intentions is taking you straight to hell! Anyone else looking to follow his path remember: There is a good reason for following the chain of command! There's reasons why decisions are made from the top and not the bottom. professor

I too believe the Russians gave him "asylum" to pump his brain. No matter how many "treaties" we have with them. They're not our friends and never will be.

And Snowden is going for it!
I wonder what his real reason for revealing intels is.

Agreed. Marchetti and Agee did way more harm historically by introducing to the public the same stuff Snowden yammered about as if it was new news. He just provided some specific name dates and places, so the media and some countries pretend it is new to them so as to promote their own agendas. Noting also many, many countries use the same tricks and almost the same technologies.

I am amused you fell for the shell game and believe Snowden was actually on that big silver bird flying out of Hong Kong. My own private jury wishes to see contemporary footage of him at the Russian airport before accepting that.
