That's just the way it is
Never ceases to amaze me how some people will pass judgement on other without foundation for their views. It seems some will quite happily insult others and and imply judgement in a bulling type way without even really knowing the person at all. To those who do this remember if you don't know the person well try being grown up and civil even if they seem to be acting strangely or whatever the case may be.. You don't know what their life Intails they may have stresses unforeseen health, family, home who knows. Even if you decide you don't like someone it's no excuse to be aggressive or insulting.. People that act in this way are certainly not acting in a mature manner although they would argue they are. I've seen this behaviour to many times what happened to common decency! Actually thats not entirely true theres still many decent people out there just a small minority that lack maturity etc Those who act this way are their own worst enemies at the end of day. I dont know why im writing this really as those with this attitude would probably laugh and think its funny as thats the nature of the beast. So to those who carry on insulting others passing judgement acting like 15 year old school yard bullies good luck I'm sure in the end you'll be rewarded with what's comming to you.. I agree entirely with you here but...why should you have to "defend" yourself every time someone passes judgement on you?
I know, it is an instinctive response!
I used to feel that way too and have learned to control these impulses and have learned to accept that this is "their" problem, and not mine! Hard work, I know!
There will always be people to push our buttons from time to time, just to remind us...
The day that it doesn't affect us anymore is the day we have finally learned!

We can't control how others behave, only how we let it affect ourselves. Spinning your wheels on what other people say about you or think about you is a whole lotta wasted energy, I reckon.

Yes, of course they will be losers! But,it is not a question of winning or losing here, is it?
The problem is: Does it affect you? And, if it does, then it means that you have still some work to do on yourself (?)
We all have lessons to learn and they can't be learned if you live alone on a desert island...
