Live and Die for Love?
I've heard it said that we find "true love" only once in a lifetime if we're lucky. And I don't know how much weight this statement really carries, if any. Do you?

It all depends on how you define "True Love"
I have been in love many times , but they are not as intense as the first time , because we get use to it ...and when we fall out of love the withdraws can be quite painfull ...and some will do extreem things to stop it , like steeping infront of a fast moving greyhound bus ..
but this is emotional hurt and can take some time , five years to get over it ...or to save time , find another person to be with ...it can have many names , a popular name is baggage and will surface at any time till the person is over it or the five years has gone by ...
now when I search for someone , I seek a friend , because friends are forever... and lovers come and go
Maybe I should have said a "soul mate" type connection.
Anyway, I hope to experience it before my lifespan clock runs out.
