Animal Lovers? All Aboard!
I've been a nature lover my entire life, but became more actively involved in the lives and upkeep of animals in my early twenties. There's just something about their raw innocence that compels me to interact with those that won't snack on or kill me if I get too close.

How is it people can be so cruel? I do not understand. When I look at it, it breaks my heart. So I don't look.
Of all the animals, we treat chickens and bovines the worst. Pigs are not far behind. I have cows. They are precious sweet loving beings. They can hurt you just playing with you. Been shoulder checked by one of my smaller cows. She sent me flying. She weights about 1100 lbs. I have to watch them when they are heat. They try to mount me! Talk about a horror story. There's Cailin, smashed flat by and amorous cow...
But I can picture it, and I'm glad you weren't too terribly hurt, wow, 1100 pounds of love and fun, yes, you have to be careful.
