has greed taken over

I think people have got much greedier everyone is paronid about money or the lack of when we did not have money things were easier people were happier one could borrow a pound or two till Friday came its the way lots of us lived we were more understanding of those that were short often what would be given was only small but meant so much now its credit cards money orders direct debits it would drive you to drink and now we have banks with no staff we had no phones but when you rang someone you would get a reply no they gave us mobile and say its the way forward id rather go back to being getting an answer and chargers everytime you look its dying my god take me back to the 60 s and 70 s any day was better no air bag lights to contend with no electric windows to break cars that yo could attempt to fix not like new ones much to tricky you would not know where to look

How about next time putting some punctuation for easier reading? :)
And I don't think 'when we did not have money things were easier'
Imagine you are sick and no money to go hospital or you want to study further but no money to pay for tuitition... In my opinion, got as much money as easier however it is right that got much money doesn't guarantee that we will be happy. I think happy is nothing relative to money, it's about how people's definition.
well mimi things were easier I would rather be back there no one was hungry im not talking poverty just more laid back and caring
Laid back and caring have nothing relative to money in my opinion.
It's about people personality mostly, I think.
better times I feel more craic could smoke on buses in pictures could drink a few pints drive home without getting arrested big brother was not poking his nose in everywhere no meters for anything oh take me back decent music too I could just keep going
I think jj we were far easier pleased in the days when we had less .. and now that we have more, theres just no pleasing us atall sometimes...wouldn't you think that would be the other way around confused

The less we have, the more difficult it would be to pls us..
and the more we have the easier it should be insteaddunno

Some people have gotten so greedy even more so them that have it compared to them that don't..its cheaper to burn a dead horses remains then pay a vet to dispose of them in a more proper manner.
itchy your spot on them were much more innocent times no one had much no w its money obsession don't like this is not healty I se it everywhere
I'm not sure what does 'craic' mean but I feel terrible if peoples smoking in public areas such as on the bus or at the airport or wherever has people doesn't like smoking.
well mimi I will educuate you there wer ash trays on buses films were nicer with smoke in front of the lenses the same people that have them banned are crooks and lecture us how to live I have never anyone in picture house fall dead from it most would be so busy with girlfriend the smoke would be a screen for them to cannoodle the craic is what we call greatly enjoying oneself usually involving some alcohol los to be truthfull often to much
It has been long time I don't have to use bus for moving but I remember when I was a student, I used bus almost everyday and it was crazy when someone smoked next to me. I could immediately either walked away or changed bus. When I grown up, people asked me what is my ideal/dream boyfriend/husband I would like to have, my answer was 'non-smocking' :)
Very interesting blog, and great comments. i agree with it all, i do smoke but i have respect for those who don't. I have notice over the years the more you make at a job the more you spend, some because you have to to support your family, and some because you want to keep up with the neighbors or your on selfish desires. i have heard some very good comments cheers
wenever this desirefor money is pitiful I was guilty until I was shocked I now get by okay I have time to talk to walk to go visit someone for 40 years I had not time to think were only her once and we all should take a step back its an easier road to take and I feel better with it
Johnjim, I believe in the Bible it says the rude of all evil is the love of money, not money. I have learned to live with in my own means. But have seen many people who are having a hard time of living because of the lack of money. this is not greed it is the lack of not having means to survive cheers
ah the bible wenever if we all lived by it would be abetter place when I see them poor kids in Africa pinned down mostly by the west I question that bible and itchy your in right good form don't forget to scrub behind the ears its very important anything could be lurking there to spring out at the first opportunity you been a witch and all
Johnjim. I must say I do believe in the bible but I must also say I don't understand all of it. Yes things are bad all over the world, but me myself have to have faith in what is and what is to come, and hope it is well for all cheers
wenever I totally respect what you said and meant im a c hristian to

I'm trying to be jj and to think alittle more positive because this evening i was given alittle hope wave

just noticibg that banks are robotising themselves.
I dont like it.
I much prefer to use the desk and deal with people.
I did complain about this once and was told off by one staff,
telling me to join the queue for the machines.
I do not see this has progress.
DONT LIKE IT AT ALL.
I dont mind the robots being used in kitchen, for space , for science and medical purposes.
but definitely not in banks.
nozeal your correct they took my bank book insisted id have to use the whole lot is a card id rather the old book where they had to write the transaction its madness there wont be a person in these banks shortly people should stand up and speak out
