Migratory birds......

How do migratory birds know when to leave England and fly to the South of Europe for the winter, and when to return the next year for nesting? And how do they know the way to go to find a warmer climate?

They know when it's cold and have the brains to get outa there. There are no more insects for food either!

They use magnetic streams, landsites and the the moon and the stars!

We humans stay and make our homes in cold and freezing places. I think birds are smarter! We also need maps and GPS!!!
They have an inner radar. When you think of butterflies who travel thousands miles all on the wing it is amazing. Frogs go back to old birthing place too even when you move them they will cross roads to get back to place of birth. All showing us humans are dummer than we thinkrolling on the floor laughing
Hi CMI
There are so many things about nature that we don't understand. How the salmon knows which river to return to when he breeds? Look how he travels upstream; even climbing cascades in the water.wow

@Cmiyer..... It's known as an ability that God has given them!!
My son and I also talked about that the other day. Birds are born in one country without any knowledge of a warmer country they must go to and yet when the time comes they know they must leave and know where to go. Nature is filled with wonders and humans sometimes look stupid compared to nature surrounding us. wave
