Hazelnut flowers
U can see the yellow pollen dust in the air when u tip with the finger at the male flowers hanging down like litle curls and u can find the plain female buds on the twigs with the tiny stigma protruding for catching the pollen.I have seen one honeybee fly.
The buds have broken at the hornbeam, but not at beech and oak.
