A late blog

Last Sun, Feb 23, I went to an open base festa in which I took this profile pic worn by an spectator. I'm just amazed to see men falling in line to try some suits of Men in Uniform. I just can't help but smile seeing a great number of men, young and old alike showing off their military-inspired possessions. A lot of pro and avid video and camera fans were a bit frustrated as only a single acrobat was shown and the events were less than the previous ones. But I think, it was just fitting to the theme about their own contribution of help to the Fukushima jiken. It was a bit of serious tone if I may say. But the mere fact that they open their base to the common people like me is already gratifying. My only regret was on my way out, at the entrance to the base, there was a group with placard petitioning for the Blue Impulses' participation. I did join the throng of people who were signing. Yet when I arrived home, I realized I shld not have done that. Who knows where would those papers go? How am I to know if they won't change the heading and make it appear to be anti govt. Till today I'm still worrying.doh

@Zman, my heartfelt thanks for my being first to comment.bouquet
@Luke, very many thanks for dropping by to cheer me up in my gloom. So many weird things had happened and still happening around me that I don't believe in the saying to see is to believe anymore. I think I have to be wary of petitions of any form as my son is in the Self Defense Forces. Here in Japan, it seems foreigners who still can't move on from living in the WW11 days are making issues and living off well out of these issues. Very many thanks to you two and the rest who took time to view but are busy to comment.teddybear bouquet bouquet
Hi Tatami
Be careful. That signature you placed on there can easily end up on an order for a swimming pool in your yard. You may just come home one night to find a gaping hole on your property.doh

@Catfoot, a house with a swimming pool would surely be loved by my son as he's into swimming too. But don't worry. The only swimming pool that can accommodate the apt I'm renting is the swimming pool good for the ants.laugh Thanks for dropping by too.bouquet
If you had a pool there you can imagine where all the leaves & dust would end up, you'd all be doing your communal cleaning daily just to keep the pool nice doh laugh rolling on the floor laughing
@Zman, now I have an idea where all the dishes from Cat's party went in.laugh
