Quite annoying

I always take my lunch break in the factory at 1pm. There's a young Chinese lady in her 30's sitting opposite. I'm just a bit annoyed because right after her meal(she finishes her packed lunch ahead of me), she has the habit of picking up her tooth. She covers her mouth with her hand, but just seeing the toothpick and she staring at me most of the time while doing it is really a big turn off. What do you say?moping

Bad manners roll eyes some people do not care do they.teddybear
If she puts her hand to cover her mouth , that's not a bad manner mate.confused . Just tell her nicely to finish her meal by the time you finish.applause
Didn't realise that you were a woman, but hey its the same thingpeace
Bad manners but unless your service contracts forbid it there is not much you can do. Look the other way. Easiest.
dunno grin doh
@Red, just don't know if living in a very remote village in her native country has something to do with her manners.
@Karie, if we're the only ones inside the dining room. But most of the times, the female eaters on those times are only 3. Most times there are 7 men aound the place.
sigh
@Alex, I just can't tell her that. She deliberately wants to finish her meal early so she could take a nap in the locker room. My only option is to change my break time. But I'm working till late in the night and having my lunch at 1 is just the right time. If it comes to be unbearable I might change it to 1:30, though it's quite a time away from my last meal.
@Cat, if I look at my left, I'd see the window but it's still closed as it's still freezing here. If I turn my head to the right I'd see a lot of men ranging from 30's to 60's. Those are Japanese men. If I keep looking at my right, they might think I want to hook up with one of them. This is Japan. And probably not only in Japan. If a beautiful woman like me keeps on looking to the men's side and most have finished their meals too and watching TV, napping or simply idling while they're just newly energized with the state of the art packed lunch in lacquered boxes, something might snapped and I might probably bid goodbye to CS forever.grin
It's a dilemma. I opted to bear with it in silence. She's quite rude on other things too. I just don't want to pit rude with another rudeness. Maybe it's OK in their culture since I had worked with another Chinese in another factory and she did that too. Anyway, Friends, thanks for sharing your point of views. It's lightening. Have a happy weekend everyone.teddybear bouquet
I say you don't say anything and be wiser the next time you eat. Instead of facing her, face away from her. dunno
@Nico, thanks for sympathizing.
@Johnny, thanks too for your wise advice. To those who viewed, too, very many thanks. It's really lightening.bouquet
