Old Fashioned Way of Raising Children

Children are being treated like adults when they should be brought up like children.
Internet can be a bad thing-Predators come online and use the youngsters who fall for these people.
Scammers run amuck on every site.
I was never allowed to speak to my parents like I have heard other children talk back to them.
The foul language,the "F" word being used all the time in daily language.If I ever swore,I would be in big trouble.
Young kids allowed to have cell phones.
The way girls wear short skirts up to their butts.
Girls get raped or kidnapped and parents wonder why bad things happen.
What has happened to society?

Different times!!...but I think if your consistent with your rules at home and children know what to expect...despite our changing times...children thrive in consistency...

Ian, with me there is no Boss at home and only a mother. Since my daughter small I brought her in to a one routine. She knows the answer NO. It is depend on how you deal with kids. This far she knows that she is going to bed at 19:00. Wake up at 06:00 am till 08:00 do refreshing the previous day studies. Then get ready 08:15 in the car with me to go to school. If parents does not teach them since they are little kids and when they don't know the difference of parents tone mean serious tone and loving tone it is hard. This far I did not have a situation to slap my daughter. Yes it is different of course how may parents fed me up. But now the time and the society is changed. My daughter has no internet no television either. Television only for the week end that also limited channels like National geography channel discovery channel.
