WHOA! Easter Bunny Just Came By!
As a Christian I don't get excited about the egg and "goodie" hunt because now as an adult I know about it's pagan beginnings. But that doesn't mean I also want to take away the delight of a young child and the fun of an "Easter egg hunt". I am sure that a good Christian family will make sure that the real meaning of Easter is explained to the kids as they grow older and it is not the goodies and the bunny!WELLLL!!!!
To my surprise when I awoke this morning I found an "Easter egg" in my pumpkin plant (I grow a garden in my little yard). It made me happy because I immediately knew who put it there. I have a neighbor by the name of Isabella. She is one of the kindest and most generous persons I know. Every holiday she leaves me some little thing that pertains to the holiday and the love it generates just warms my heart.
I immediately cracked the egg open and ate it. And as I write this blog my heart is warm and glad that I have a neighbor who shares her love in small little ways that magnifies the glory of the God almighty. Amen!!
