You have my most sincere sympathies. I wrote a long (doubtless boring to others ) blog about my own then favorite cat's death ('ode to...'). It has been more than a year and although other cats she lived with are still here I think about her a lot and sometimes imagine she is still laying by my feet or on a shelf watching me type or read a book. If no other pet companions remain to communicate with please consider obtaining a new companion.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments...It's been 3 month since she passed and I still miss her...Itchywitch... You don't mean that you wouldn't want to find your cat like that trust me it wasn't a pleasant sight to find her like she was...
