Floating Bubble

This pumkin head from north/east Florida took a floating bubble and went to his trek, heading to Bahamas according to him. Not sure how far he went, he was spotted by coast guard helicopter. Guards approached, pumkin-head asked them, hey which way to Bahamas? Guard said, see the copper up there? that's the only way you heading right now...the things we do for a little Famecool

What is amazing about pumkinhead is, when he was first approached by the US Coast Guard, he refused them. Then after 77 miles at sea, he realized he couldn't make it so he contacts USCG. What an idiot. The news talked about the cost of the rescue. In the $1000 and $1000. The govt should make him pay for this little stunt!

I'm prior USCG. Such stories are a good deal more common than y'all would suspect. The huge majority of such silliness simply doesn't get the publicity this guy did.

It's absolutely incredible the number of ways people concoct to essentially try to get themselves killed. This story has a relatively happy ending!
