On being Born Again- Part 2
Part 2If you are BORN of God then God is your Father and you are His child. If you BORN of Him then you have to practice RIGHTEOUSNESS!
How should Christians, who are BORN of God, live?
17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? 1 John 3
My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but IN DEED and in truth.
Now he who KEEPS His (GOD's) commandments ABIDES in Him, and He (GOD) in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
If we LOVE one another, God ABIDES in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have BOLDNESS in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
Are you LIKE GOD in this world? God is LOVE!
If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this COMMANDMENT (to fulfill) we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. 1 John 4.
KEEP this COMMAND implementing it!
Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is BORN of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves HIM who is begotten of Him. 1 John 5
And everyone who loves Him who begot also loves HIM (i.e.Christians) who is begotten of Him!
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and KEEP His commandments.
We know that whoever is born of God does NOT sin; but he who has been born of God KEEPS himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.
So, to HAVE eternal life we need:
(1) Believe in the Son of God.
And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5
(2) To be baptized in water, abandoning our sins and promising God our good conscience, as a symbol and act of repentance.
(3) We need to live a GODLY/HOLY life KEEPING i.e. IMPLEMENTING commands of God and LOVING people in action...in DEED.
13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 14 As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, 15 but like the Holy One who called you, BE HOLY yourselves also in all your behavior;
16 because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy." 1 Peter 1
This is what you call "Christianity". This is the way to the Kingdom of God. That should be your REGENERATION to be a SON of God BORN of God.
Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.
Are you BORN of God or of devil?
In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. 1 John 3
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us (CHRISTIANS), that we should be called children of God!
We are CHILDREN of God!
Return to God you- backsliding CHILDREN of God! Repent and God will RESTORE you!

It's such a simple plan for living life...
sort of missionaries brought much trouble to native people.

Anyway this is my favorite chapter:
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon you."

Everyone gets to talk about what ever they want to! And so do we! We didn't force you to participate did we? But you all are more than welcome.....or you don't have to accept and invite...but please....let us be who we want to be....and believe what we want...learn what we want to with out a bunch of gnashing at the teach and mocking at us. If your not sure it's truth from what we discuss....ask us to show the proof. If you have proof your right...then....Cool. But you should be able to tell us what books, chapter, pages, web site etc.
There's no since in all this hate....we've never been hateful to y'all.
If there's a religious transitional zelot, then show proof they are wrong and need to study more with facts....trust...they will! And so should everyone else. The world is full of information right now. I'm telling you...don't know when...but unless better changes are going to happen in this world....all the I formation that's out there is going to be lost to you....we humans THINK we know all and are prepared...

Theresa, I understand what you're saying, and I agree with you in part, in that they don't have a clue as to what we are talking about and this is why I spoke what I spoke, but I'm not too good about easing back on the truth, that's called compromise...
I'm not on this site to seek or save the lost, I post on the forums and blogs of my choice to edify other Christians, and since those who do not believe in God, still see fit to come on my thread or blog, I appreciate this and they are welcome and we get alone fine even with some of their smart-mouth comments, but I do understand why. But on another Christians's thread or blog with their mess, I will defend the Word and my faith along with that person against the mockers without compromising one word I must say...
I've read some of your posts, and some of the things you've said have not been as nice as I'm sure you would have liked them to have been. Yes, You're right, sometimes we forget mockers and scoffers don't have a clue, but if a person makes a choice to be in a fight as a mocker or a scoffer, hopefully, as Jesus has said, they will also come after counting the cost of being unprepared.
BUT, there is no where in Scripture can we find where Jesus or the Apostles or the Apostle Paul in His writings compromised one word of what He/they had to say to the Pharisees, mockers, or scoffers, and neither will I. I will indeed boast in the Lord, and speak in defense of the faith according to what is spoken against MY GOD AND HS WORD. Now if it should convict and is taken as fire and brimstone, judging, or self-righteous, or whatever you or anyone else would like to call it, then so be it, that's not my problems. Conviction of the heart is a terrible things, this is the work and job of the Holy Spirit of God to convict the hearts of people of their sins, not mine. I'm only to speak the truth as I know it from the Word, in season (meaning when its proper) and out of season( when its not proper), and God will handle the rest.
"Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for teaching, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, for training in righteousness (meaning in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action)". 2 Timothy chapter 3: verses 16.
