Inspiration

"Suppose you had one hundred sheep and lost one. Wouldn't you leave the ninety-nine in the wildernerness and go after the lost one until you found it? When found, you can be sure you would put it across your shoulders, rejoicing, and when you got home call in your friends and neighbors, saying, 'Celebrate with me! I've found my lost sheep!' Count on it--there's more joy in heaven over on sinner's rescued life than over ninety-nine good people in no need of rescue."
Luke 15:4-7

...I was just reading up on a few things and I came across this story that Jesus told. This has been far more than inspiration to me to know that I(we) haven't lost a chance yet to see the glory in God. Whether you're christian or not, I think we can ALL learn something from this story whether you're looking to get into the kindgom of Heaven, or struggling with a situation in life with a similiar feeling of invisibility or vulnerability.

Jesus puts great value on His "lost sheep". However, We humans tend not care as much as He does for others. I believe that is why it is so difficult for us to reconcile with God. We cannot love others as He loves us. Therefore, we don't normally go after the lost sheep of mankind. It's only through His love and our changed hearts that we are willing to lay down what we have and pursue that which is lost. He demonstrates His love by pursuing us even though we reject Him and go our own way. It's a shame that so many people are searching for love on these sites and yet love is knocking at their hearts door through Jesus Christ. He is the best friend and companion that anyone could ask for and yet we spurn His love by going our own way, lost as a goose in a snow storm.
Tonight is my mad night

Weell one thing is for sure Jesus was not a farmer, because iff he was he would have ensoured the 99 sheeps and then went looking for nr. 100
