I can still picture like it happened yesterday he died
suddenly at home and I must tell you its the hardest thing
that I ever had to deal with in my life.

I went thru therapy I write I do whatever I can to make
it easier for me but I think I finally found someone to
help me thru this difficult time in my life and Im so
ever thankful and greatful.

You know everyone is always telling horror stories of
their experiences meeting people on dating sites.mumbling

Well I just wanted everyone to know out there you can find
someone on these sites if you are careful and not so negative
and have a open mind just got to go with your gut and take it
from there.
thumbs up

I have read alot of negative stuff on here so I thought
its long over due to write something positve for a change.peace

Take Care All and never give up hope!

I lost my husband to divorce twenty years ago and have recovered only after half the length of the marriage in time. I also miss my grandma who past away in 63 from lung cancer, my grandpa in 83 from colon cancer and my dad in 93 from lung cancer and my mother in 2003 from skin cancer/dementia.People around me in the town I live in don't understand a bit. They have ten or twelve come over every holiday and they would like a few to leave. My daughter lives in Ca. and my sister lives in Pa. They think it's too much trouble to see relatives at the holidays. So I who have little funds have to make the trip. What I found usefull was to take one day at a time.Don't think about tommorrow for it will never be ok, with your fears.Let them go!Do things you have always wanted to..Go places that excite you, experience life in what ever form comes to you. grin :
Im sorry to hear about your losses tallteach.

Its true how some people don't have any idea
of how difficult and painful it is to loose
a loved one. Once they have been thru it themselves.

Yes Im trying to get on with my life as best
as I know how and I hope you are doing the same.

Take Care and God Bless and Keep the faith!

I know you have heard it many times , but time is a great healer and your pain will lessen but never go away completly, just keep the good memories alive and take one day at a timeand take good care of yourself.
I lost my husband of 35 years sunddenly one day too. It takes time. I felt like the first two or so years after his death I was in a fog. It's been almost 5 years now and I feel like I can get on with my life. I know everyoone tells you it just takes time and it is so hard when you're going thru it. But it will get better. Take care.
Yes Newport and Blaine thanks for the words of wisdom.
Yes I at times still feel like im in a fog and can't
believe hes gone. But I take it day by day and hope
that the pain gets a little less and less everyday.
But the memories will always stay with me and I will
always love him that will never change it will be a year
in october and it still feels like
it was yesterday reliving
that horrible morning. At times I get flashbacks where he was
found in the chair and it makes me very sad and hurt on how
he left me so suddenly. But Im trying to move on and live
my life the best way I know how. It always helps when you have
support from good people like you.

Take Care and Peace!
