When I was young my friends and I would go into the woods and that is where we built ours.. We had so much fun.. And my kids did the same thing and now my grand kids will do it... It's a family thing..

lol we used to use the large cardboard boxes that appliances would come in and paint them into houses....would be our little private hideaway

When I was about 8 years old, a group of the local Kinsmen Service Club came to
one of the local parks with a big truck load of cinder blocks and cement. Well over
about 3 days or so, they built this wonderful play castle with a big drop down door
and a 2 story tower with stairs inside.
It was so awesome.
Every kid in the area was in love with it.
I swore one day I would live in something like that as my house.

Ya gotta have a dream.........

When we go camping, early in the morning you can hear the elk and sometimes they will come up to the campsite..
