But for the vast majority of people, upping sticks and leaving everything you know and love to go to a country where you know nobody, except one person (mainly virtually), possibly don't speak the language; understand local customs, have no job etc., is a huge ask of anybody.
I think lots of people have the rose-tinted view that love can conquer all. I am all for love, but reality has also to be taken into account.
